About Me

In addition to being a writer, I am currently an intermediate teacher in Seattle, Washington, and a professional Starbucks drinker. Recently divorced,  I live with my ten-year-old daughter in a cute condominium with nosy and noisy neighbors who do ghastly things on a regular basis.

I write on a wide range of topics, from humorous and poignant personal narratives, dealing with a chronic illness, life as a teacher in an inner city school, and adult and adolescent fiction. I am currently working on my first book, a collection of humorous personal narratives, a cross between David Sederas's Me Talk Pretty One Day and Adam Bagdasarian's First French Kiss and Other Traumas.
